Hunter Education Class Set for San Jacinto Wildlife Area, Saturday, April 28th, 2012

The DFG Area Staff of the San Jacinto Wildlife Area would like to invite you to come participate in this year’s 8th annual Hunter Education Class on Saturday, April 28th, 2012. Students are to assemble at 6:30 am; class begins at 7 am, at the San Jacinto Wildlife Area Headquarters office located at 17050 Davis Road, Lakeview CA 92567 in Riverside County.

Participants are to arrive at 6:30 am; class will begin at 7 am sharp and end at approximately 4 pm. In the morning the staff will pass the hat for cash donations to provide for a BBQ lunch at noon. Contributions of food and beverages for the lunch will also be collected in the morning.

This class is free to all, no tuition or materials fee. Please read your manual prior to attending this class. You can get a manual at Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga or, when you call the San Jacinto Staff to sign up, you can ask about other sources for the manual.

For donations for the BBQ please bring lots of drinking water, other drinks, salads, deserts, chips etc. Contributions for the BBQ and donated items for the BBQ will be accepted on April 28th (the morning of the class).

They would like all participants to be signed up prior to the event so they can have them study the DFG Hunter Education manual before attending.

Directions to the San Jacinto Wildlife Area:
From the 215 South freeway
-Exit Ramona Expressway going east towards Lake Perris, go 7 miles to Davis road, turn left and go up Davis road 2 miles to the Wildlife Headquarters office.
From the 79
-Exit Ramona Expressway going west towards Lake Perris, go to Davis road, turn right and go up Davis road 2 miles to the Wildlife Headquarters office.
